Awards

Sam Ciurdar is a filmmaker whose background is in narrative work and who recently expanded into documentary with his first short film in the genre. Most recently, he received Best Director – Short Documentary at the London Vision Film Festival for Changing Courts: The Jack Sock Story. Earlier in his career, his film Threshold was named Grand Prize Winner at the Action/Cut International Film Festival, and he was recognized as a finalist at the Shorty Awards for his work on the Dove Men+Care Elements Treehouse campaign.

His projects have also been acknowledged on the independent film circuit, including Best Comedy at the 15 Minutes of Fame Film Festival for Not So Good Bad Guys and Best Short Film at the INDI/HollyShorts Film Festival for The Passing, which was shot entirely on an iPhone.
